Recently I have been expanding my skill-set in PHP, database management and javascript libraries such as jQuery. I've also improved my design skills by working with design agencies and going through the process of a complete website re-branding. To view the sites I've created to date please browse through my portfolio.
I'm 24 years old and have worked for over 2 years as a website developer for Mondofacto. In 2008 I graduated from Newcastle University with first class honours in Information Systems. I have a long-standing passion for website design/development and aim to create original, dynamic and user friendly sites.
With my birthday, Christmas and New Year all in the space of 11 days, it's safe to say I'm in need of a quiet January. Although it's terribly cliché, I've decided to make some changes this year. It might be time for me to advance my career and experience some new challenges along the way. With each advancing year I consistently want to learn and improve by expanding my skill-set and overall knowledge of web development and the industry itself. I'm very much satisfied with my accomplishments to date, but it could be time for a new exciting chapter in my career.
I decided the website needed refreshing, both from a code and design/layout perspective. I've implemented a new colour scheme, logo and layout to enable the website to be more professional and easier to use. I've also added new web design projects to my portfolio. Finally, I've implemented a number of speed increasing techniques to improve usability still further.
