This website launched in August 2010 and aims to advertise soccer coaching services toward an American audience. The focus was on readability and ease of use. Since its launch the website has been instrumental in the initial success of the company as it continues to grow.

I was approached by my football club committee to create a professional website which would keep players and fans up to date with all the relevant information, recent results and photos. I created a theme, which matches club colours, whilst also maintaining a simple and functional feel. I also utilised some modern CSS techniques such as border radius and text shadow.

Mondofacto courses is a learning management system which utilises Moodle. This project required me to customise an existing framework to convey the Mondofacto brand. I also developed a custom PHP and MySQL home page, which displays all available courses in a concise manner. I also utilised jQuery functionality to add interactivity and maintain ease of use.

I currently work for and actively manage this website.

Managing this website has vastly improved my technical expertise. Creating each of the word tools has given me a deeper understanding and knowledge of PHP and javascript and given me a great insight into controlling a website on a large scale. For example, the Scrabble solver that has on average 3000 page views a month.

I have also worked on creating promotional materials such as this Medical terminology course poster. Creating this poster required me to utilise my skills with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

I created this website as part of my University dissertation project. The projects aim was to improve the desirability of the computing science website at Newcastle University, to attract potential students to the University. The main principles I learned from this included the need to create a syntactically valid site and the importance of accessibility. I achieved a first for this project and strong feedback from user comment forms.

I worked in conjunction with my brother to create a Graphic Design Portfolio website. We collaborated with our respective skill-sets to create a site that displayed his Graphic Design talents both in the online portfolio and design scheme/layout and my coding expertise to produce a fully functioning, professional website.
